~~djdeb updates~~

This is what I look like at present. I am still recovering from whatever this is that I have. I went back to the Dr. on friday and am on 2 more meds and I am using a nebulizer (not sure what the spelling is on that) Thankfully my dad has one and I can use his. I feel ok if I am not talking or moving, then I do not cough as much. Anyways just wanted to give an update.

My writing group Faithwriters www.faithwriters.com is taking a break on their weekly writing challenges so I am hoping to get a chance to get on my blog and visit others more. I have so enjoyed these challenges lately. My last three were fiction and got quite a few good comments. I have not placed or won in my group, but am learning so much. There are so many talented writers and wonderful christians there.

One last update Ashley from the Clark brothers will be playing some kind of instrument for one of the singers this week on American Idol. It's a weird name and I am not sure how to spell it.

djdeb's back and here's her update.

I'm Back.. believe it or not.

I have made a few changes and additions to my blog. I hope it will attract more readers. I promise to write more.

I am finally published in a book. Two of my pieces were chosen to be in a Yearly Devotional entitled "Penned from the Heart" http://www.gloriaclover.com/pennedfromheart.html . Other than the cute short story publication in "First" magazine this is my first book publication. Thanks to Faith Writers (see my favorite links), for directing me to this site. May God be glorified in the written word and may readers be encouraged.





I am still working at the same job for a non-profit counseling agency. I am grateful for my job and for one that allows me to be a help to those in need. It's has also allowed me to do some Public Service announcements on a local talk radio station. Kind of funny that it airs just before Bill O'Reilly. So this pretend dj is getting on the air for real now...
