There are a number of falls in Ithaca NY, this one was right near my sister's church.

I am from upstate New York and one of my favorite times of the year is Autumn. Leaves changing colors, wonderful smells are in the air

and many great photo opportunities exist!!

I confess the downside is what follows after Autumn. I'm sure you have guessed what that is the "W" word...









Below my sister and I being a little silly. Not sure if I have ever mentioned my love for willow trees....



So until that "W" time comes I am going to enjoy "God's beautiful season--Fall in upstate New York."

Fall Beauty

What a beautiful season fall is.... Just wish that that terrible, freezing, cold and blustery season did not follow it.. Oh well Let's enjoy these wonderful comfortable temperatures and all the vibrant, eye catching colors before they are gone.

These are pictures I took at a local park. It is beside a river that goes through our county and numerous neighbouring counties.

I love the variety of trees, water, leaves and the fact it looks like I am looking in at the scene. (if that makes any sense to anyone other than I)

MOM and I Call this our Zacheaus Tree--based on the biblical story of a man named Zacheaus that wanted to see JESUS but could not do to the crowds so he climbed a tree (sycamore) to see JESUS and JESUS saw him and invited to come down and meet with Him. This is how I picture the tree that Zacheaus was in.. Yes I have a wild imagination.
