I'm not political, just Morally obligated to know!

A few months ago a friend was describing me as Debbie the "Political" girl. At first I thought should I be offended, then I thought, "I'm not political, I'm MORALLY obligated to know!" What do I mean by this you may ask? As a Christian, I feel I have a spiritual obligation to stand up for christian values both in my life and country. Thus when I look into who I vote for I need to know what morality level they are at. Researching and learning all you can about their records and what they say they stand for; it's my duty as a Christian! I have no choice in the matter, I have to do it.

Hollywood and the popular music field have taken it upon themselves to force us to hear their political and world views. It's like we (us normal folks) cannot make informed decisions without their knowledgeable (wait-- they do not know anymore than we do) comments. You cannot watch certain television shows without hearing it and of course it's always one sided. I have boycotted so many shows that I have found there is not much to watch on television anymore.. Maybe that was the case to begin with. Sadly, I think many Americans and hopefully not Christians will be making their political choices based on what these entertainers and biased media is telling us.

To end this, I just want to encourage everyone to seek God and his word for the choices you make on November 4th.

Prayer:

Dear Lord,

I thank you for this great nation that we can have the freedom to choose. I ask that your Holy Spirit will be in the hearts of believers to give us guidance in our choices. So that in all we do, YOU ARE GLORIFIED!! Amen

Thanks again for stopping by my Tea with Tiffany blog and for commenting about those terrible fashions.

God bless,

I love the picture of the woman boweing down...beautiful.

We are Christian soldiers, we need to know what's going on. It's not political, it's spiritual...We live in a different realm, but participate in this one for that one!

glad you are praying with me...
