Until then..... we trust.

I was chatting with one of my Internet friends and we were praying for healing for herself and family. She was sharing a great verse from Isaiah.

Isaiah 41:10: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

She was holding on to that verse and said it was her verse for the day. As we were talking, I had noted that they have been through so much and this was her response----

Not as much as some - and whenever the Lord says "enough" we will gladly agree but until then - we trust

We TRUST--Two words--words of faith. It takes great faith in God to truly just TRUST. I had been having a bit of a pity party for myself that day. Bad day at work and feeling a bit pushed down, it compares so little to "what some" are going through.. Had I even "TRUSTed" it to the Lord. No! I had grumbled and complained and kept fuming over and over inside. I was visiting with this friend who is having some tough times and she was "TRUSTing" God... Oh whoa to me.... Put me in the proper place and attitude for my next day at work.

So if you are feeling a bit down or frustrated, remember what my friend said in her time of need "we trust". Trust God with those things that easily set us back and give it to Him in Faith believing that He will answer and do so according to His will and plan for you..

Thank you God for bringing this friend and her words to me, thank you Holy Spirit for allowing them to jump off the screen and into my heart.

Wonderful reminder, Deb. Oh - and I'll give you the letter "R" :) How's that?

These are great words of encouragement. Thank you for them. I've been dealing with some fear and trust issues myself lately.

Another good verse from Isaiah 26:3
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because he trutheth in thee."

Thanks for visiting my blog. This was a good post for me to read. God seems to be leading me along this theme of trusting Him. It's hard, especially when there aren't always tangible evidences of Him but that's where faith comes in.
