Who is your strong hold?

Psalm 27:1 - The Lord is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?

What holds you up when your are emotionally, physically and/or spiritually drained? Do you share your troubles with a friend or perhaps your spouse? What if they were not available; where would you go for your support?Or do you feel they may think your concerns are silly and do not understand why you are troubled?

Lately, I have been going through some fears and doubts. I tend to be a private person, when it comes to personal struggles. This is not always the best thing, but it's what I have done for a long time. Perhaps being single for many years it brings out this self-suffering or perhaps it is pride. Whatever the reason is I found myself calling out to the Lord and reading scriptures. I was sending a message to a friend on facebook and I was adding a scripture to the message. I have an application that allows me to choose from three verses that just pop up. And there it was...... my help, my encouragement, my support!

Debbie, that's what you need to know. You are not without support. Share your fears, doubts and concerns with Me. I will hold you up when you are weak, I have been waiting for you to ask.

The Lord spoke to me with this verse, especially the last part.
