~~djdeb updates~~

This is what I look like at present. I am still recovering from whatever this is that I have. I went back to the Dr. on friday and am on 2 more meds and I am using a nebulizer (not sure what the spelling is on that) Thankfully my dad has one and I can use his. I feel ok if I am not talking or moving, then I do not cough as much. Anyways just wanted to give an update.

My writing group Faithwriters www.faithwriters.com is taking a break on their weekly writing challenges so I am hoping to get a chance to get on my blog and visit others more. I have so enjoyed these challenges lately. My last three were fiction and got quite a few good comments. I have not placed or won in my group, but am learning so much. There are so many talented writers and wonderful christians there.

One last update Ashley from the Clark brothers will be playing some kind of instrument for one of the singers this week on American Idol. It's a weird name and I am not sure how to spell it.

So excited to hear..

The Clark Brothers are going to be on American Idol in April.

I had posted a blog in the past regarding Denver and the Mile High Orchestra appearing on a Fox show "Greatest American Band". Denver made it to the finals but the Clark Brothers won. Sorry Denver but I was so rooting for these brothers.

Once while attending a tent meeting, I heard the clark brothers play and their father was the traveling evangelist. They were talented youngins' and my family and I have kept an eye out for them. They have played with many artists especially in the country music genre.

They were so good on this show and they were not afraid to show their faith. It was soooooo REFRESHING for a christian to have a positive face on tv. So often, they are portrayed terribly. In the beginning of the show, it seemed like it was going to be that way for these guys. I believe God worked the judges heart to see the talent behind their faith and they could not deny it. Whoo.hoo..

They are to appear on American Idols America gives back special. Make sure to give a listen..
